Hajime mashite~! I know that I am into Korean things: makeup, style, hobbies, food, and etc. Some of my friends told me that Korean makeup suits me very well, and I am very happy of it ^^
But did you know, I have to confess something: I loved Japanese style very much for my past 15 years! (age 5-20) LOL. Yeah, so addicted to any kind of Japanese things and stuff! I also learn Japanese language everyday from books, watch anime, browsing for cosplay and harajuku pictures, cut my hair in Japanese saloon, collect kawaii weird things, buy anime stuff, act like anime characters, draw manga all day, and also read manga everyday! I love my childhood :')
Grown up, I know more about my style, seeking for the "best" signature for myself, and now I'm quite comfortable yet confidence being "ulzzang" girl everyday ^ 3^)/
for me I am an ulzzang
Well let's not talk about that anymore. LOL. I still love all things about Japanese, and this makeup style will never turn me off: GYARU.
Gyaru (ギャル) is a Japanese transliteration of the English word gal. The name originated from a 1920s brand of jeans called "gurls", with the advertising slogan: "I can't live without men", and was applied to fashion- and peer-conscious girls in their teens and early twenties. Its usage peaked in the 2000s and has gradually declined. The term gradually drifted to apply to an older group, whose seeming lack of interest in work or marriage gained the word a "childish" image. It is now used almost interchangeably with kogyaru.
It's what wikipedia says about Gyaru, with complicated words. Some lessons from internet gives me information about gyaru which has many branches: kogyaru, hime-gyaru, banba, ganguro, etc.
They all have different style, clothing, habit, but with same eye makeup.
So today I make a COLLABORATION with my friend, Audie, I know her from photoshooting her dad's dogs. She has kennel on her house. See HERE for the photos of her akitas!!! :D
I chose to be Kogyaru and Audie will be Himekaji gyaru, go visit her blog for tutorial ^^
I really want to do this kogyaru makeup because I always have a biiiiggggg interest with Japanese school girl :)
Kogyaru means gyaru style on Japanes school girls, they are very fashionable and love everything kawaii.
Let's direct to the tutorial ^^
The eye makeup details (it's so heavy, never wondering why Japanese kogyaru feel much comfortable using this heavy eyes to school and the teachers just don't give any attention!):
These are the results *yeeaaaayyyy!!*
I giggled at myself for this look, I really never go outside with this look, should try it one day! ^^
Nah. What do you think, girls? Did this makeup suits me well like my usual ulzzang/Korean style??? LOL. Please comment me :D♥
